Wishfull Thinking

All these voices in my head
Leaving trails of destruction and confusion in their stead
All these images scouring my mind
Peace i will never find
Why must you all torture me so
Seeds of sadness you sow
All i want is to protect those important in my life
To stop all that gives them strife
Why cant any of them see
All i want is for them to love me
But, alas, their eyes are blind
These chains they unknowingly place do bind
I am sorry for what i have done
I would do anything to change the past
If only so that it wasn't moored in the present
Ah, well
Guess it all just.....
